该研究采用语言测试、调查问卷和访谈相结合的方式，调查了考生对英语专业四、八级机考的适应情况。结果显示：考生在总体上能够适应英语专业四、八级机考。网考模式下，考生对试题各部分的适应程度高低排序为听力、阅读、写作。造成考生部分不适应的原因主要是考生对机考的抵触心理和计算机操作能力的不足。为此，教师应当了解学生的心理需求，帮助学生调整观念，提供网络自主学习的机会，并组织机考模拟考试。同时，学生应该调整好心态，充分相信自己，训练计算机操作能力，并参加机考模拟考试。

The present study investigated test-takers′ adaptability to computer-based TEM-4&8 by adopting the mixed methods of language testing, questionnaire and interview.The result showed that test takers were able to adapt to computer-based TEM-4&8 on the whole.Under the computer-based testing mode, the degree of adaptation of test takers ranked as listening, reading and writing.The main reasons for test-takers′ partial inadaptability to computer-based TEM-4&8 were their psychological resistance to computerized language testing and the lack of computer operation ability.Therefore, teachers are suggested to learn more about students′ psychological needs, provide them with more opportunities of web-based autonomous learning and offer computer-based mock examinations.Meanwhile, students are to adjust their state, have full confidence in themselves, practice the computer operation ability and take computer-based mock examinations.
