On American Democracy written by Tocqueville concerns about the early American moral ethical norms,which are summarized as sense of honor,love of money,taking a risk,love of labor,clean and honest,and bravery.Though they are full of color of individualism,some of them are rational.Therefore,they can play an important role in establishing socialist concept of honor and disgrace,constructing socialist core value system,leading social good mode,raising people’s ideological moral level and building a harmonious socialist society.
